Robo Climb
LD55 - SummoningAbout
A game about a robot climbing a mountain. Something is calling him up there. A summon to the summit, so to speak. Will you make it to the top?
Warning: This game can easily provoke a mental meltdown. On one hand, climbing requires a lot of skill. On the other hand, the physics engine does not exactly correspond to reality. In return, if you overcome the challenges, you will definitely experience an all-time-high! If you know games like “Getting over it” or “A difficult game about climbing”, you know what I mean…
All challenges are possible to overcome with some determination. If you’re stuck, visit the spoilers further down.

Some tips if you’re stuck:
- A hand will move into the direction of the mouse if you don’t press its button.
- The left and right hand are slightly different if you compare their thumb position. Check first, before you release a hand of a ledge.
- If you’re stuck on the ground, you first need to lift the robot up. Stretch your arms as far as you can and try to get hold of a ledge. Move your mouse left and right while doing so.
- If you press the mouse button but the hand cannot grab a ledge, the hand will slowly move down until it grabs a ledge. If this ain’t possible, stop pressing the mouse button, otherwise the hand will drag you down.
- If both arms are stretched and both hands are holding a ledge, you can swing the robot vertically by moving your mouse up and down. Repeat this process to swing up even higher. This is useful to lift the robot up from the ground or to jump into the air.
- If only one arm is holding a ledge, you can only swing left or right by moving your mouse, up and down not so much.
- If there is a vertical passage to hold onto, you can slowly climb it by alternating between left and right button clicks very fast.
